My Friend Paris

 I am very excited to bring you this review and giveaway of a wonderful series of books written by and staring Paris Morris. Paris, who is now just 14 years old, has accomplished more in her little lifetime than some even dream! She is a published author and a world traveler! She shares her adventures and tales of her family in the My Friend Paris series. We were sent 4 of her books to review and the Hines family already feel as if Paris is a longtime friend. Here is my son enjoying the books:

Paris took our family on a journey of the west coast in her adventures around San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Lake Tahoe in her travel series. How refreshing to see these sights (some of which I have experienced, some I have not) through the eyes of a young girl taking in the sights with a sense of awe and wonder! The books are so colorful and I love that they almost feel like a comic book in size and shape. I also love the font that is used through out the series, it looks like Paris is writing in her own personal journal and we get to read along.

These books are wonderful for the whole family! Little ones will enjoy the bright colors and pictures and they can be used for reading practice and as educational material when learning about the United States or in preparation for a family vacation. This travel series makes me want to book a vacation today and learn more about the exciting places Paris visits.

Paris is also a big sister to a set of twins! She has 5 volumes in her "Twin books" series in which she shares more about being a sister to two little girls, who have beautiful names that you will have to read to learn. Paris goes through the normal anxieties of any big sister, especially a sister to twins who often need (and get!) extra attention. This would be a great series for any family expecting a new sibling or multiples to teach other siblings what to expect and what are normal feelings that are different than what they may expect but are ok to have.
